Accessibility Statement
Dysc aims to make browsing, managing, and playing a self-hosted music library usable by as many people as possible. Accessibility work is part of the product rather than a separate mode.
Current status
Dysc is beta software and its accessibility evaluation is still in progress. We do not yet claim full conformance with a particular accessibility standard or full support for an App Store Accessibility Nutrition Label feature until all common tasks have been tested with that feature.
Areas being evaluated
- VoiceOver names, values, hints, focus order, and adjustable controls.
- Voice Control labels and the ability to activate controls by name.
- Dynamic Type and Larger Text without clipped or hidden content.
- Keyboard and Switch Control navigation where supported by iOS.
- Sufficient contrast and differentiation that does not rely on colour alone.
- Reduced Motion alternatives for animated discs, stacks, cassettes, and radio controls.
- Clear error messages, touch-target sizes, and predictable navigation.
- Accessibility of onboarding, sign-in, playback, search, downloads, playlists, and settings.
Report an accessibility problem
Email jellydisc@proton.me with the subject “Dysc accessibility.” If possible, include the app version, device, iOS version, assistive technology, screen or task affected, and the result you expected. Do not include a password, access token, or private media.
If email is not accessible for you, you may use Apple's TestFlight feedback interface during the beta. We welcome requests for an alternative format for information published on this website.
